EXPLORE and Asilia Africa teamed up to send Healthcare workers to Africa!

Simply saying THANK YOU wasn't going to be enough this year...

Last year was unlike anything we have ever experienced...The world stood still, pausing in shock as turmoil unfolded globally, yet health care workers showed up day in and day out to help their communities through the onslaught of the mysterious virus. To share our gratitude and say THANK YOU to those making a difference, EXPLORE Inc., Asilia Africa and Kenya Airways crafted an all-inclusive safari and sent two NYC healthcare heroes who worked 18 hour days through the worst of the pandemic on an all-expenses paid "retreat" to Kenya.

Rebecca Carmona and Taylor Crimi, two healthcare workers at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, spent much this past year working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to deliver exceptional patient care in one of the hardest and first hit areas in the world. They were selected in a blind essay competition to spend ten days of rejuvenation on safari in Kenya's magnificent wilderness. Their trip was full of up-close encounters with wildlife, meeting and getting to know Asilia's amazing staff and guides, pitching in on community care efforts, and experiencing the undeniable healing and magic of safari. They shared their experience with their hospital coworkers on a daily basis through their own social media efforts. 
We too felt rejuvenated just watching their experience unfold.
