Imagine the surprise of EXPLORE clients Susan and John Peter when they received an email from South African Airways congratulating them on winning the “Picture Yourself in Africa” contest. And imagine their delight when they realized they had won two round trip tickets allowing them to fly from the US to Johannesburg or Cape Town!
On their second trip with EXPLORE, Susan and John flew on South Africa’s Freedom Day from JFK to Botswana. To commemorate the day, South African Airlines greeted each passenger at JFK, gave them a SAA safari hat, and invited all passengers to submit photos of their trip while wearing the hat. Susan and John, both avid photographers, accepted the challenge and submitted the winning shot. Susan, who composed the photograph of John, said, “I chose to do a profile so it would fit with the theme ‘picture yourself.'”
Susan and John will be using the tickets they earned with their winning photo to travel to Africa a third time with EXPLORE. I can’t wait to see more of their terrific photos!
